We recommend placing the battery box placed on the floor of the cabinet or, such as in your installation, the floor itself. However, we do not make a touch lavatory faucet without the Proximity/Hands-free feature. Hello Bill, Thank you for your question. We appreciate your interest in Delta faucets. Yes, the lift rod on the back of the Delta Zura Lavatory 574T-DST faucet lifts up to engage. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include the handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. Hi, Ellen! Thank you for your question. The Delta 574T-DST faucet does have a stream straightener, RP90441. This can be pulled straight out of the spout to remove. Once removed, this can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution to clean. This can be soaked for an hour or overnight to clean any debris that maybe causing the flow issue. Dear Marie, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Zura Lavatory 574T-DST faucet can be installed on your counter top instead of the sink. You would just need to make sure it has the proper clearance, the electronic parts and wires do not interfere with the sink and the supply lines reach your hot and cold shut off valves. Thank you for your question, P B K! Although we do not offer an exact measurement, model 574T-BL-DST should measure approximately an inch to an inch and half taller with the handle upright depending on if an optional escutcheon plate is being used as well. Best regards, Edward

Although our finishes are extremely durable, they may be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To clean, we recommend simply wiping with a gentle damp cloth and then blotting dry with a soft towel. If water deposits are especially troublesome, you may use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water to remove them. White vinegar is strong enough to dissolve mineral deposits, yet mild enough not to damage our finishes. Note: Please be aware white vinegar may stain some porous materials like untreated stone. If you have an unsealed tile or counter top, please take care when cleaning your products. If you’d prefer using a chemical cleaning product, our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastic® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturer’ instructions. Any cleaners not listed above may be tried if they do not contain hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids or similar caustic agents. Some examples of chemical cleaners to avoid are: green Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, and Soft Scrub and Tile Cleaner. Note: Any products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust will most likely harm the finished products. Most drain cleaners may be used when following their specific directions and not allowing exposure to the finish longer than 30 minutes. Best regards, Rosanna
