Champion 4 vs Delta.
I built a home in 2009, installed two of the golf ball flushing Champion 4's by American Standard.
Immediately, the tanks stopper plungers begin leaking!
Replaced both and still they leaked!
Taking the tank off to replace the stoppers was a nightmare because now the tanks leaked.
I remedied that and then the inlet valve became troublesome.
The stoppers in the Champion 4 are a new design that are nothing but a headache!
OKAY!
I picked the Delta C43908-WH because it used the old style stopper plunger.
Because of my bad back, I directed my wife on the installation.
This toilet was a breeze to install.
I only wished Delta supplied brass base blots instead of rustable steel.
Although I did replace them with brass.
I also replaced the supplied wax-ring with The Green Gasket foam one for easy alignment.
The thing I noticed about flushing is that the water level preset by the factory was set at half the float levels capacity.
This is probably why poor reviews on here complain about poor flush.
I just adjusted the float to it's highest level and the toilet flushes like a dream!
The two nightmares while installing toilets are the wax-ring leaks and the tank is hard to line up without leaks.
This was my very first time installing a tank without a leak and I replaced the provided wax-ring with the awesome Green Gasket foam ring from the hardware store.
It holds the bolts in alignment while you install the toilet, no more nightmare.
The self lowering toilet seat I could live without but the wife likes it.
I didn't know this when I bought it but the bowl is extra wide which makes it easier for us boys to make the shot, we really like that feature.
So if you are looking at the Champion 4 by American Standard, steer away from that nightmare and get this Delta!

Q&A
How does the tank lid come of? Can it slide forward or is there a clearance needed to lift it up then off? I am replacing a height of 29 inches in a 30 inch clearance space so not sure if it will work unless I cut off the overlying vanity ledge.

Tank Water Level
How do I adjust the water level in the tank and bowl? I need it to be higher.

Thank you for your question on the Turner Elongated Toilet. I will be more than happy to assist you; on the fill valve inside of the tank you will see a white/cream plastic screw. You will need to turn the plastic looking screw clockwise to raise the water level and counter-clockwise to lower the level. If you need anything further please contact us by calling 855-345-1345.

What is the best product to clean the toilet bowl inside. After 3 weeks I am already noticing water stains near the top of the bowl. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Products containing chlorine or chlorine-related products can seriously damage fittings in the tank, which can cause leakage and property damage. Just installed and noticed there is a dial with numbers on it located on the fill valve. I can turn the dial and see different numbers like a setting of some sort. What do those numbers represent?

The purpose for the numbers listed on the dial on the fill valve is to make a very small water level adjustment.
