What is the dimension of the ring?

Does the towel ring move back and forth or is is fixed

Just purchased new home with Delta bathroom fixtures, Woodhurst design. My paperwork says the finish is brushed nickel but on your website I see chrome, stainless and 2 darker colors. Which color matches brushed nickel?
