The Sanborne™ Round Front Potty-Training Toilet Seat with NightLight in white is powered by 4 AA batteries with an illumination cycle that is 9 hours on and 15 hours off. Slides Around
Have had this a few months and it slides all over now. I had to order a replacement screw and anchor set and I’m really hoping that fixes the problem because if not I will have wasted another ten dollars on this seat. The sliding is especially a problem with a preschooler using the seat. A bummer because we loved this at first! The light is fun and the soft close is nice too.

Nice features
Just installed the seat and I have to say is was a little confusing. Three should be written directions on the installation sheet. Just the pictures are not enough. Otherwise it is a nice piece and seems well made

Installations need Improvement
I brought this a few weeks ago and loved it in theory. Everyone said the instructions were confusing but I thought I am pretty determined I can figure it out. I did but not before the plastic components had been put on and taken off so many times that they wore down. Now one side wont stay on snug and the whole seat moves around. Very frustrating when it could have been avoided by just having words on the instructions that said the pieces came shipped one way and they need to be turned around for installation so the plastic components are interlocking.

Great features, stylish, nice design.
This toilet seat is about as nice of one that you'll find. The night light feature is great at night, but in order for it to be helpful, you have to leave the top lid up before you go to bed. If you leave the top lid closed, it is not helpful in finding the toilet in the dark. The light lasts for 9 hours on and 15 hours off. So I put the batteries in at 9pm so that the seat would be lit up from 9pm to 6am. The quick release feature is great for cleaning, and allows me to take off the potty trailing seat until my daughter needs to start using it. The slow close feature is very, very slow closing. I have another slow close seat brand on another toilet and it is much faster to close. This seat truly does not make any noise when closing because of how slow it goes down. I didn't rate this seat as excellent because the bolt brackets that hold the seat to the toilet do not keep the seat tight. I've tightened the bolts very tight numerous times and they always seem to loosen up causing the seat to move around. I'm thinking it might be because the holes in my toilet are oblong instead of being perfectly round, and the special bolt bracket system on the seat is meant for round holes, but nonetheless, I am happy with this seat.

Does the toddler seat flip up with the lid when opened, or does it stay down when the lid goes up?
Benjamin — The instructions in that file are the same as what’s on the box. I don’t see where it mentions any alternate installation methods to get the training seat to flip up with the lid (while leaving the adult seat down). Is there perhaps another document or video that might detail this installation method more clearly?

Is this toilet seat compatible with any brand rounded bowl toilet or only delta toilets?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our toilet seat will fit onto another manufacturer's toilet bowl, although if the mounting holes on your bowl are 5 1/2" apart and if the bowl measures 16 1/2" in length, it may fit.

Is there a special tool to reinstall a Delta Faucet 823902-N-WH Sandborne Round Potty Training Night Light Toilet Seat with Slow Close and Quick Release. Mine had to be removed during rehab for hip replacement and we can’t properly tighten the reinstall.

I bought this off Amazon and the plastic screws on the bottom cracked on one side and it keeps moving. Is there any way I can get new screws for this??

How can I remove the seat? The instructions just show to install? I need to remove the seat to transfer to another toilet closer to my son's room.

The seat is removed by pulling straight off the quick-release hinge posts. The hinge posts can then be unscrewed and uninstalled. Or, replacement thing post assemblies are available as part number RP81226WH.
