The Delta® Potty-Training Toilet Seat with NightLight Technology offers two seats in one as well as a gentle, guiding light through the night. With NightLight, there is no need to turn on the glaring bathroom light for nighttime tasks. A child-size ring lifts out of the way, making it comfortable for the whole family while reducing bathroom clutter. The Sanborne™ Elongated Potty-Training Toilet Seat with NightLight in white is powered by 4 AA batteries with an illumination cycle that is 9 hours on and 15 hours off. This slow-close toilet seat helps prevent slamming for a quiet close. The quick release functionality allows easy removal for cleaning, and the innovative NoSlip™ seat bumpers keep the toilet seat from shifting and improve stability for added comfort. Poor build quality of mounting system and covers
I bought 3 of these about 3 years ago. The mounting system was always percarious and feels like your going to break it when installing. Once in place it is secure but the white plastic caps that go over will break, we have had 3 caps break, we have also had the slow close on the child insert on one break just falls with a loud smack now.
I ordered the 'hinge caps' including spares form the site here they showed up (note there is no picture on the site) and they are NOT the cap that breaks but the cap you put on when you remove the child insert. So overall not satisfied with the support or the build quality of the hinges.
The seat it's self is great, I tired the light it was gimmiky, the child seat works great (when the slow close works) but the caps will break and there are not available as parts on the site and the existing parts are misleading this cost me an extra $60 shipping plus the extras that I did not need.

Great toilet seat but disappointed with customer service
I love the toilet seat, and the child seat built in. The night light works great too, and has helped my kids go potty during the middle of the night instead of wetting the bed.
The only problem I had was installing it with anchor bolts that were included. It reached a point where I couldn't tighten them anymore, and the toilet seat was still loose on one side. The other side was tight enough. I tried calling customer service to to buy a replacement anchor bolt to be told that they didn't sell individual parts and I would have to buy a whole new toilet seat to get that part. I just hack sawed the anchor bolt off and ran my own flat head bolt through it with a coup washers and rubber washers. The seat is probably more secure now than it would have been using both original anchors.
Overall I love the toilet seat, love the kid functionality and the night light. Buy it, try using the anchor bolts and go buy replacement bolts when it doesn't work.

Can I change the color of the LED bulb? Blue light affects the levels of the sleep inducing hormone melatonin. Having a blue nightlight on the toilet could start the bodies natural wake-up process prematurely and cause problems getting back to sleep.

When does the light cycle of 9 on / 15 off start? Is it when you put in the batteries or is it already preprogrammed to be on from dusk til dawn?

What are the steps to remove the anchor bolts when it comes time to changing out the toilet seat?

Please follow the below steps for removal of your Delta Faucet model 833902-WH Elongated Slow-Close / Quick-Release Nightlight Family Seat:
1. Put the toilet seat and cover at a 90-degree angle and remove the toilet seat.
2. Remove the bolt covers.
3. Use a screwdriver to twist the bolts out of the holes.

Does the toilet seat work with the Tushy bidet attachment? It is intended to sit over the bolts, but since these are square it doesn’t seem like I will be able to mount on top as it is intended.

This toilet seat attaches at a standard distance with quick-release mounting posts. Removing the quick-release posts and installing them on top of the bidet should allow the seat to be installed. The bidet manufacturer may have additional information about installing Quick-Release Toilet Seat with Metal Mounts.
