Where do the supply lines need to be?

How thick is the deck on this tub? Some deck-mounted faucets have very thin max deck specifications (e.g. 1.75"). Also, do you have any faucet recommendations for this tub?

The Delta B14627-6032-WH has a 3" thick deck. All Delta roman tub faucets have a recommended maximum deck thickness of 2 1/2".
