Leaks CONSTANTLY from
Leaky
We have 3 practically new (but out of warranty) dual flush toilets manufactured by Delta. All 3 leak constantly. We have tried replacing the seal valve with the part number shown inside the tank and the leaking continues. I'm now preparing to replace the entire float system, all at my expense. If this doesn't work, I will have to replace 3 toilets. The dual flush is designed to save water but there is no water saved if the toilet leaks constantly.
Do yourself a favor and do not buy this toilet!

Do not buy!
This toilet with elongated bowl will not flush solids that have contacted the porcelain, leaving a mess.
I see no solution, Delta says" ......1.28 gpf" but that doesn't matter if the waste is not going into the shallow water and not cleanly flushing from the bowl.

Poor performance on solids, Waste of Money!
We purchased two of these units and are very disappointed with there ability to flush solids. I have read other reviews concerning this problem, and the manufacturers reply is "Delta toilets are precisely engineered to flush at 1.28 GPF and are tested to remove 1,000 grams of solid waste as determined by third-party maximum performance (MaP) testing."
This may be true, but they do not work as expected. There does not appear to be enough water in the bowl, even with adjusting the water level in the tank or holding the handle down for more water, which seems to defeat the purpose of a High-efficiency product. It may be High-efficient, but it is ineffective.
I do not recommend this product and wish that we had never purchased this product.

I couldn’t ask for better
I just installed this toilet. I’ve only ever installed one other toilet in my 47 years so it’s safe to say that I’m a novice at the task. This toilet installed very easily and had well thought out, robust hardware. It is a common sense instillation and the instructions are available both with the toilet and on line. I may have miss placed my instructions right out of the box….literally! I would have zero issues with recommending this toilet to anyone who understands that a standard nut tightens clockwise.

Do Not Buy This Toilet!
The water level in the bowl is way too low. So when you take a #2 some of it gets on the porcelain. I called Delta customer service and all they wanted to do is argue with me saying the water level is normal because it’s a low flow toilet. But I own rental properties and own several brands of low flow toilets and all of them have adequate water in the bowl. Also, this Delta toilet’s seat is very uncomfortable. The design causes a skin pinch. Do not buy this toilet.

Excellent Product!
I purchased this item to replace a much more originally expensive and different brand toilet. When I found out how much the repair parts would cost for the barely 6-year old toilet, I figured that a new toilet would make more sense. I've known Delta's excellent reputation, so the purchase was a "no-brainer", and I've never looked back!

how to adjust water level left in bowl after flush. (more)

Thank you for your question. While the Delta C43913-WH toilet is only designed to use 1.28 GPF (gallons per flush), you may also hold the flush lever down for a few seconds longer to allow for more water to flow through the tank into the bowl, which will help to clean the bowl and still conserve water, since older toilets were designed to use anywhere from 3-7 GPF. This will also allow for more water to stay into the bowl, the longer you hold the flush lever down.

Will the Foundations C43913 fit with a rough in that was roughed in at 11 1/2" to the finish wall? I seen the dimensions online but nothing gets me from the bolts to the back of tank.
My flange bolts are 12" from the wall, and after completing installation I've got about 1.5" space between the tank lid and the wall.

Unfortunately, we do not manufacture this model with a right-hand lever option and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you are interested we do manufacture a dual flushing toilet which has 2 buttons located on the tank lid, model C43908D-WH.

What cleaning products does Delta approve for this model? I see that in-tank cleaners are highly discouraged, however; in the video I noticed that something colored the water blue to display the hydro flush technology.

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use in-tank cleaners. Products containing chlorine or chlorine-related products can seriously damage fittings in the tank, which can cause leakage and property damage.
