Is there a problem with installing the Montour freestanding tub  with drain and overflow on the front side when approaching tub instead of back side ?

Is the popup drain cover and the overflow drain cover changeable? Is there a matte black option?

Someone asked two years ago if there was a black overflow and pop-up drain option for the Montaur tub, and at the time there wasn't.  Has that changed? We installed it but the chrome doesn't match any of our other plumbing fixtures.

I was wondering what the over flow side of tub looks like. We are doing a remodeling and the nature of the position of our drain requires it to be mounted a certain way. Is it smooth on both sides of tub?

Can you recommend a floor / free standing tub filler based on the dimensions of this tub? I want to avoid anything too high that would cause a lot of splashing. thank you
