STEP 1: Measure then Multiply

Measure then multiply the Length x Width x Height (in feet) of the steam enclosure to determine cubic footage.

STEP 2: Adjust Cubic Footage

Adjust cubic footage to determine Adjusted Room Volume.

Material Adjustments:

  • For ceramic or porcelain tile, glass or glass block, multiply by 1.35.
  • For natural stone or marble, multiply by 2.0.
  • If using another material, consult Delta Steam Customer Service for their recommendation.

Exterior Wall Adjustments: For one, multiply by 1.1; for two, multiply by 1.2, etc.

Ceiling Height Adjustments: For 9 ft. ceiling, multiply by 1.15; for 10 ft. ceiling, multiply by 1.3.

  • For optimum performance, ceiling height should not exceed 8 feet (10 feet max).

STEP 3: Select Steam Generator

Select Steam Generator within the Adjusted Room Volume range shown below.

  • If there is a skylight or outside window, select the next largest generator. The skylight or window must be double-pane and sealed from inside the steam shower.
  • Generator voltage must match existing local utilities (240 Volts).
